VITO DECANDIA

If there’s one thing everyone loves, it’s a great story. It was that love of great stories that led me to pursue a career in film editing and remains
at the heart of every project I work on to this day.
Over the course of my 20+ years in post production I’ve worked on everything from broadcast commercials to episodic television series to feature documentaries with some of the most talented people in the industry. From my early days as a tape room operator at a boutique NYC post house to working as a staff editor at RadicalMedia for over a decade to my present day freelance work, I bring years of technical and creative expertise to every project.
My projects have premiered on major broadcast and streaming platforms like PBS, Showtime, History Channel, Discovery, Netflix and Hulu as well as numerous film festivals around the country. Additional credits include the the web series “Park Bench with Steve Buscemi” which won the
Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series in 2016.
Some of my most recent work includes “Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi” (HULU), “Unguarded” (PBS) and “Sasha Velour’s Nightgowns” (ROKU).
